Pros: Powerful, Affordable, Very Useful Cons: Associated with Vista, A little different than 2003 (we hate change!)
At this point, almost everyone knows what Microsoft Office is - those programs that come already on your computer when you buy it from a big retailer because you had your tech-savvy nephew order your computer for you. But what happens when your computer ...
Pros: More user friendly, faster to load, automation of common features, better organized, and beautiful interface. Cons: You have to learn to use the new interface but it is worth it.
The standard version of Microsoft Office 2007 includes Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word. The main difference that most users will notice is definitely the user interface. Instead of the usual menus on the top left area of the window, you have what ...
Pros: Office Suite 2007 works better together and online templates function. Cons: The interface is tougher for me trying to get what each picture means.
I am in Community College and have taken Office 2007 as a credit class. I really like how the applications work so well together with the same data. The interface has changed and it took me awhile to get used it, though I feel the organization of the ...
Pros: Inexpensive software and customer service actually solved the problem. Cons: Problems with the downloaded software.
After having the same home PC for five years, something happened to my Word and Excel programs and they both stopped running properly. After spending hours on the phone and online with customer service agents about the problem and since I work from home, ...
Pros: Clear and organized. No drop down menus. Cons: Can be confusing when first using the product.
I purchased this product as an upgrade to Office 2003 after having a trial of it from the Microsoft website. Microsoft Office 2007 has four of the same products from Office 2003, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook. It also offers tool for Office. ...
So what happened to the user-friendly functionality? This version is just ridiculous. It's impossible to navigate through. This version is totally different than past versions.
Buyer beware! It will take you a while to figure out where things are. Even Word is confusing! I'd rather use Office 2003.
Also, when you save out doc's, it will save them as version 2007, that only other users of 2007 can open. If you do not have this version and try to view this type of a doc, then you may need to download a converter in order to open these types of documents. Otherwise, you just need to remember to save them as an older version so that others can view them.
Microsoft office 2007 is a HUGE improvement over precious versions; just the eye candy alone is enough to send your fingers on fire. I like features like the Spelling & Grammar check, which helps me keep my articles flawless. The Save feature is intuitive and gives you many options for creating documents, and you can custom design how you want the document to look. Word can also implement clip art, although there isnt a clip art library, you can place images from your computer into the documents. For students and writers Office is the ideal solution for writing, although the price tag is quite steep it is worth every penny. So if you are a writer or student I recommend Microsoft Office 2007, it will make creating documents so much easier.
